Cherry and maple, probably 20th c., small copper tacks, two fingers, finely carved fixed cherry wood handle, good patina, 8″ h (to top of handle), 13″ l, 2 3/4″ h (to rim); Sister’s cloth needle box, (purchased in the 1970’s from Roger Bacon, Exeter, NH), round beeswax, blue and tan round pincushion (2 1/2″ dia), strawberry emery; Hexagonal “Fancy Goods” sewing box, kid trimmed and lined in light blue silk with felt needle case, blue strawberry silk pillow, beeswax cake, bottom is stamped “Sabbathday Lake Shakers Maine”.
